Πολύ μικρή η συνάφεια του modernjazz.gr με τις φετινές υποψηφιότητες Grammy στις κατηγορίες της τζαζ και των σχετικών ειδών. Μόνο 4 από τα υποψήφια για βράβευση άλμπουμ ευτύχησαν να συμμετάσχουν στις εδώ λίστες αναπαραγωγής, αν και όλες οι επιλογές της Recording Academy περιέχονται στους καταλόγους που ακολουθούν στο τέλος της κάθε συλλογής.
Τιμήθηκαν όπως πάντα οι μεγάλοι, και από τους νεότερους, ξεχωρίζει ο Jon Batiste που, με 11 υποψηφιότητες σε 7 διαφορετικές κατηγορίες, φαίνεται ικανός να σηκώσει το βάρος αυτής της πλούσιας μουσικής παράδοσης. Στις 31 Ιανουαρίου 2022 έχουμε και την τελική βράβευση.
